Hi there — hope your week has been low on the pain scale. I wanted to check in to share a short (fictional) story I wrote and read the other night as part of the East Village Wordsmiths salon, which is held monthly at Book Club, an excellent bookstore/watering hole. Thanks to all the folks who listened and said kind things (or held their tongues from saying unkind things).
