Oh, Mondays! How’s yours? Here’s a recipe for the bean/corn/feta dip I like to keep on hand throughout the summer for spontaneous barbecues. Each time I serve it, I’m reminded that nothing brings people together quite like a scooping chip.

In other news, I’ll be hanging out at Sunny’s Bar in Red Hook TONIGHT (Monday, July 7) from 7-9 p.m. to celebrate the launch of a new comics page in two newspapers: the Red Hook Star-Revue (in Brooklyn) and the Village Star-Revue (in Manhattan). I’m syndicated!

Cartoonists Dean Haspiel, Adam Suerte, Nick Forker & Ariel Kahtan will be there, too. Come by, sip a liquid and grab a copy of the paper. I love the smell of physical media, but you can also read the comics online.
